"I��ve been suffering through pain related to a torn meniscus for a few months, this finally brought relieve where other braces and compression sleeves failed. The ��unloading�� design is what makes it different by aligning my knee to take pressure off of the medial (inner) side it brought relief from the pain of the torn meniscus while I waited for surgery. Plenty of strap length for fat thigh folks like me, they even include an additional longer strap if needed. While the price may make you think twice, I wish I had gotten this first instead of the other three braces and sleeves that did nothing."
"The Orthomen OA Unloader Knee Brace (LEFT leg) looked very similar (in the listing photos) to the knee brace a friend of mine used after her knee surgeries so I ordered this one in anticipation of my husbands upcoming minor knee surgery to give him a little support that week. I was (am) a bit intimidated looking over all the pieces and parts and the instruction paper that came with it. The brace isn't as large as I expected based on the listing photos, but I anticipate the support it gives is enough for our needs. If he was going to be completely incapacitated in that knee/leg after surgery I'm not sure this would be the brace for us. I did research and see they have a website and many social media pages as well as contact information on their site. The brace seems fine for light, every day or sport support."

"I will be more than happy to submit a honest review of the brace as without it, I could not walk. When my son gave the brace to me, it was for the short term as I was scheduled for a knee replacement 6 months from when I received the brace. In the meantime, I tore the total rotator cuff of my left shoulder so the surgeon decided I had to have a reverse shoulder replacement before the knee replacement, so I had two arms after the knee surgery. That pushed the knee surgery back 6 months while my new shoulder healed. Before my shoulder surgery, I discovered I had rectal cancer. Another push back. I needed months of radiation and possible rectal surgery. Lucky the radiation got rid of the cancer so now I am moving forward with the shoulder surgery in February. Four to six months after the shoulder replacement, I will finally have the knee replacement surgery. Doing this entire episode my Orthomen OA Unloader Knee Brace has allowed me to stay mobile. With the brace, I have no knee pain from the bone-on-bone status of my knee. I am a very active 82-year-old so moving around is a must. With the brace, I have that freedom. Without it, I must use a roller and only for short walks. Believe me, this review is from the heart. Your product is a God sent. Thank you."
"This knee brace works well and gives good support. It feels sturdy and helps a lot with knee pain, especially when walking or standing for a long time. It��s adjustable, so you can make it fit comfortably. The quality is great, and it feels durable. My only issue is that it takes a bit of time to put on and adjust properly. It is lightweight, so didn��t give the leg too much weight. Once it��s on, though, it really makes a difference. "Purchased this for a bad knee that has lateral band stability problems. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong knee as this is a Left knee, I needed a Right knee. Reading is fundamental they say! Non the less this knee brace seems to be of sturdy construction and is light weight compared to my DonJoy Brace. Although more light weight it is still less rigid and provides less stability than the more expensive one mentioned. The straps are comfortable with no excess pressure and the valgus adjuster is easy to use and makes adjustment fast and effective. The pieces that come with the brace are plentiful for adjustment. It is important to one, so research on what valgus point you need and how much bend support is needed as there are inserts to adjust knee extension and flexsion. If these are improperly set you could cause more damage. Please consult orthopedic, PCP, physical therapy for proper fitting."
