"This brace is very well made and has helped me heal from an acl tear. It is easy to put on and it stays securely in place. I had one from the doctor but it didn't fit right and would move around and pinch. This one doesn't. It gives plenty of support and allows me to walk and still have my knee supported. I thought I might need to wear a cotton sleeve under it to keep it from rubbing but didn't find it necessary. I had my physical therapist check it out and he said it was just as good as the one I got after surgery. Maybe better because it was more comfortable. If your recovery from an acl tear and need to wear a brace for awhile, I would highly recommend giving this on a try. I'm glad I did"

"I have a dislocated kneecap that will forever more haunt me throughout my days. After spending a year to learn how to walk again, I still have plenty of flareups and days where I am positive that my knee would like to snap off my body. Those are the days when I need the support of this large brace more than ever. This is the brace that they slap you in fresh out of knee surgery and lock the mechanism so that it forces your knees straight. Very rarely do I enjoy that but its always appreciated and made me feel secured in walking on days when the site acts up. To get this beast on, takes alot of willpower and will require you to read the directions to figure out how to place and thread the straps for the tightest hold. The steel sides make this brace unbendable and provides a stability for weakened knees. It sucks to sit in this because it can and will pinch your skin, wherever it can reach but just be aware of that and adjust accordingly. Usually, I wear this for the majority of the day without a problem but that is something you work yourself up to. It will hinder your normal gait with how cumbersome and large it is. The padding provided is a God send and provides a softer embrace than the cold, hard steel against your skin. Please be aware that this device is for your right knee only. It does not work on the left knee as the protective pads are in the right side and cannot be moved. Overall, I have a few of these around my house for any given day and this one is a great security in my collection. Very happy with purchase and definitely recommend!"
